Deception. Mystery. Hushed whispers and accusations.

Tragedy begetting tragedy and it happened with a snowball effect’s energy and momentum.

A small town girl (and her family) are thrust into a world of illegal activities, foreign to her long ago innocence. A drug dealer, a mule, an entertainer; all roles she was forced to play.

A body lay dead in the ground in a national forest, where the murderers left him. They doused the ground with gasoline, as they’d heard it would deter animals from messing with the site. Only one person would give up the location and potentially pay with their life.

Hot, August fog rolling across the highway. The radio cranked, playing a classic Lynyrd Skynyrd song, curves all up and down the forest line. The tree seemingly came out of nowhere. What would transpire from the moment of impact on, one could not fathom.

What these events all had in common would be unexpected, sad and intersecting bordering an implosion. Read how one young woman broke her own glass ceiling and rose up for her own life.
